Halloween

Chone decided to be a Geisha, and the twins were ducks!!

We went to SB because the Phi was going to be there and we wanted to kids to be all together for Halloween. The Phi looked super cute in her costume! When we were taking this picture, someone said, "Cari, 75% of those kids are yours!" I was like, "Man, you're right!"
We trick-or-treated the street that takes you to my parents ranch. We only saw like 5 other kids, but the people at the houses were very happy to have us trick-or-treating at their house and to see our beautiful girls.

By the end of the night, the duckies were snug in the stroller.

But the Phi was still ready to go!

Chone had a good time!

Elaine was working at some type of fair and wanted Mom, Me, and Chone to come keep her company. (The guys were still working on the wall) So we went and it was pretty cool.

Chone got to pet some really tiny bunnies! There were other animals too, like a pot belly pig, ducks, goats, chickens.

Then she got to play some games where you win tickets. She traded her tickets for a little purse. (Man, her hair is long!)

Then the coolest thing of the day was when she got on this jumping thing where you are harnessed on cables. She did really good! I thought she was going to be scared, but she did flips and everything!

The Phi

My sister and the Phi came over today. Here are some pictures of what was going on.
The Phi had a photo shoot with a scarf and her pimp cane.

She's so funny! I love this kid!

The reason you don't see Chonie in any of the pictures for today is because she was the one who took the Phi's pictures.

Felix hanging out

Kicking back in the baby chair and pondering the meaning of life.

I don't think he figured it out.

Hola, soy Lili!

Here is Lili wearing Chone's Build-A-Bear glasses. They are actually for the dolls, not Chone.

Here's a little smile!

The Pumpkin Patch

Right off the bat, Chonie won a mini pumpkin. Then she played another game and won another one. So she gave them to the twins.
We flung tomatoes with a big sling shot!
We went through the corn maze. It took us a while. They had some cute signs up, like this one.
Picture Time!!
It was very hot, but very windy!! The twins almost slept the whole time.
One more foot and you'll be the same size as Nana!
The twins' first picture being measured at the pumpkin patch. Not even 2 feet yet!! Shorties!!
Chone got her face painted. Way cool!!
And of course we got on the hay ride. We had a good time, but missed Lisa and Sophia! Hopefully next year we will all be there. This year it was Mom, Me, Elaine, Chone, and the twins. The men stayed home and worked on the wall they are building.

Comfy Spots

After searching and searching, Felix found some comfy spots he liked. Chonie must be very comfortable!

In the tub

They finally got their first bath in the tub. I was nervous to do it sooner since they were so small and fell over in their bath chair, but now they seem to do just fine. Lili was fine with it. Felix was really liking it, until I put the water on his head. So now they are both super clean!!

Y Soy Revelde!!

Luis worked late the night before, so when he came home, Chone was asleep in his spot. So instead of waking her up, he just slept in her bed. So in the morning my bed looked like this (minus me). Luis was all wrapped up in Chonie's Revelde (singing group from that novela) blanket. I thought it was funny, so we teased him the rest of the day that he was a Revelde fan!

They both fit!!

They are growing, but still so small. They both fit in the bouncy chair. Lili didn't like it. I'm guessing they are about 8 pounds each now.

So Much For The Bottle

Lili has decided to refuse the bottle. They have both been taking them for about 2 weeks. They were even drinking formula sometimes, but not anymore. While Felix is a bottle champ, Lili is not having it anymore. She won't take breastmilk, formula, warm or cold. She will only eat from me. So much for the bottles and being able to leave her at a babysitter. I am going to keep trying every once and a while. Now we know who it going to be the stubborn one. She must get it from Luis and Chonie.

Ahhh

I left the twinkies in bed and when I came to check on them, this is how I found them. It was so cute! I ran for the camera. Felix had snuggled close to Lili and had his head on her shoulder. They looked so comfortable and calm. It was the first time they seemed to know each other was there.

Happy Birthday Woman!

For Woman's Birthday we were invited to celebrate with her and her family at The Cheesecake Factory. It was some really yummy food! The twins behaved pretty good. They brought Rosie a ice cream sunday and sang to her. It was nice to go out with them all. I can't believe Woman is 27! That means that we are getting close to 30.

The First Babysitter

I had my 6 week postpartum dr. appt today, so I asked Mary to watch the kids (all 3 of them). Of course she was excited because she would be the first babysitter. So I took them over and gave her two bottles. Angelica fell asleep on the couch, and when I came back, this is how I found Mary. Mary has some good pictures of her feeding both babies at the same time and stuff. I hope they weren't to bad. Thank you Tia/Nina Mary very much!

Happy Birthday Nana & Micheal!

Of course we got together for Nana's Birthday at her house. I didn't get a picture of Nana, but I did get this one of Arnie holding Lili. I thought it was a cute moment. He held her for a second, posed for the camera, then gave Lili to his Mom. It was sweet while it lasted! It's funny how babies can bring out the nice sweet side in boys and men.
Micheal was out at sea (Navy Man) for his birthday, but we sent him some birthday love anyway. We love him and miss him!
