Pony Tails

Lili got her hair in two pony tails. Now she can see!

Time to eat!!

We had a booster seat, but our table is only for 4, so we bought a high chair. We got them carseats also, cause I hate infant carseats!! But we haven't put them in the car yet.

I gave them some biter biscuits. They made a big mess with them, but they took a bath afterwards. Lili can bite pieces off, so we have to watch them with these.

Massage

I don't think this is what they meant when they said baby massage!

What's with this table?

The babies like to scoot/roll/crawl around all over the floor now. These were on different days, but they have both found their way under this table we have in between two couches. It was funny when Felix went under their because I asked Luis, "Where's Felix?" We were looking around for him, then I realized he was under the table. As long as I don't find Chone under there next!

A Ring

We went to look at rings for Luis. I have mine, and it's paid off, and we want to get married by court very soon. Then I realized, Luis doesn't have a ring! We only went to 2 jewlery stores, but this is what he liked. It is white gold, even though it looks yellow in the picture. It's engraved with crosses and a swirly design. I like it, but we are going to keep looking

Great Party

For my Tio Grande's 50th birthday they had a party at the park. It was a great party. They had a western theme and a lot of people dressed the part. Felix tried a strawberry for the first time. One of my cousins did some dancing for her Dad, with one of her cousins. It was awesome! She learned the dance in 1 week!

The twins got to try on some cowboy hats. Of coure Lili cried because of her stranger anxiety, which is normal for her age. She only cried once in a while cause we were outside. My cousin Meli wanted to hold her, and she was fine! Meli must have the magic touch, cause Lili was as calm and happy as can be with her. My niece, the Phi, also likes Meli. She is usually shy around people she doesn't know, but she hugs Meli and "talks" to her in her crazy language. Meli even got the Phi to say Mama, and she never says that for anyone!


Lili got to try the slide. (Right after we took the picture she threw up on Luis' arm. That's Luis in his cowboy gear.) The twins didn't really have western wear, but they wore their Levi's pants & jacket.

Happy 50th Birthday Tio! It was a great party!

First Communion Coming Up

Chone is going to make her first communion on April 28th. I took these pictures of her with the stuff her Grandma brought her from Mexico. We just used a dress she already had, but are going to go shopping for one soon. We also have to shop for the babies baptism outfits.

Two Peas in a Pod

The twins are starting to interact with each other. They smile at each other, laugh or scream to each other, and pull each other's hair. I put them down for a nap and bedtime at opposite ends of the crib. Lately I have been finding them next to each other when I go check on them when they finally fall asleep. Later that day when they were putting on pj's for bed, Felix tried to roll over Lili. (notice her hand under him) She hugged him, hit him, and tried to bite him several times. Since she has teeth, I try not to leave them next to each other cause she bites everything she can get her teeth on. She hasn't gotten him yet, but she is getting quicker at moving around on the floor.

Weekend

After visiting Big Nana & Tata, we went to stay with Nana (my Mom). The twins used the Phi's old swing and booster seat to eat their meals.

We spent the night and the next day we did Art Walk by the beach and went to eat at Longboards. It was fun to be in SB. I felt I hadn't been there for a long time. I need to remember to take pictures when we are out at places. (I have a horrible memory)

This is not Lili, but she cut #7. Are you kidding me kid? It's the bottom left next to the ones she already has. It seems that her top teeth are huge, and the bottom ones are small/normal. Let's see how long until another one comes along!

Kickin It with Big Tata

We stopped by Big Nana & Tata's house so they could see the twins. Since Lili freaked out and cried the whole time we were there, Tata held Felix. Felix just looked at the people in the living room. I remember when they were born and they came to see the babies. I was so happy to see how happy Tata was to be holding my newborn babies. He cried and told them how precious they were. It's something I'll never forget.

You can see how much they have grown in 6 months. He has tripled his weight since we left the hospital. 5 pounds to 15 pounds!

New Things

First they tried to drink from a cup. They both got it into thier mouths.

I had seen these bath tub seats on clearance for $16 each, and when I went to buy them, they rang up at only $6 each!! So I only paid $12 + tax, and they are $25 each at Babies R Us.

Felix was fine, but Lili just kind of sat thier and stared at Felix. (notice thier feet touching)

Then I straped on the booster seat to a chair at the dinner table and they tried it out. Felix loved it! Lili thought it was cool, but was wondering what she was in cause she couldn't see anything!

The teeth

Remember how Chone had the tiniest baby teeth, well not Lili. It's a little blurry, but she's got 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. Notice the scratch on her nose. She scratched herself last night, then I cut her nails!
